Support

A team present day and night

A team is present 24/7, with a night watch in the house. Its members are trained in supporting older people, in cognitive impairments and in daily help: getting up, washing, eating, finding your bearings, feeling safe.

Few residents per carer, familiar faces, no parade of different professionals. Joining a new environment is a delicate step: we make the transition easier, and family carers keep, if they wish, an active role in the life of the house. Everyone’s rhythm is respected: group activities or quiet moments.

Care and follow-up

Care that comes to you

Everyone keeps their own doctor. The rest is organised around you, in the house, and we coordinate everything.

Your family doctor

You keep them. Or you see our partner doctor, who comes to the house when needed.

Regular nurse’s visits

General health checks and management of treatments.

Home care as needed

Few external professionals, to preserve privacy. The house coordinates.

Right through to palliative care

In your own room, surrounded by familiar faces, as at home.

And if health declines, you stay. Support and care intensify, in coordination with the doctor, the nurse and home care. No one has to leave the house because their health changes.

Meals and life of the house

Meals

Home cooking, produce from the garden

All meals are prepared on site by our cook, and everyone can lend a hand. Breakfast is taken in your room or in the dining room; lunch and dinner bring together those who wish, and the meal is served in your own home if you prefer to stay there. On arrival, a personalised meal sheet records allergies, intolerances and preferences.

Life of the house

A house that lives

Everyone takes part according to their wishes and abilities: setting the table, gardening, cooking, or simply being there. Activities are offered regularly, some included, others as an extra. Loved ones are welcome at any time, and so are volunteers.
