Housekeeping
A lively and carefully maintained place, where residents are invited to get involved in their own way to help enrich everyday harmony. Clothes are washed, dried, ironed, and, if needed, mended with care, all while respecting individual preferences. Laundry is returned within 48 hours, and bed linens as well as towels are regularly replaced by a service provider.
Rooms are maintained with a balance of flexibility and rigor: routine cleaning several times a week, thorough cleaning once a week, and full disinfection every two months. Common areas are also regularly maintained, with opportunities for everyone to contribute to their warmth and friendliness.

Meals prepared on-site by a cook
All meals, prepared on-site by our cook, provide residents with the opportunity to get involved if they wish, whether in the kitchen or serving. Breakfast can be enjoyed in the room or in the dining room, according to preference, while lunch and dinner bring everyone together in a friendly and warm atmosphere.

We prioritize seasonal products sourced from local producers and our own garden to ensure freshness, quality, and flavor in every dish. This approach combines the pleasure of healthy eating, support for the local economy, and a deep respect for the environment.
A kitchen tailored to your tastes and needs
Upon a new resident’s arrival, we take the time to create a personalized meal profile. This exchange helps us better understand their dietary requirements, such as allergies or intolerances, as well as their tastes and preferences. We thus ensure to offer meals that are adapted, respecting their needs while providing pleasure and satisfaction.
Non-medicalized housing
Care and Support
Although non-medicalized, La Maison du Soleil ensures the well-being of its residents by offering appropriate health monitoring. Each resident can keep their own primary care physician or consult our partner doctor who visits on-site when needed. A weekly nurse visit provides general health check-ups and manages treatments. We strive to preserve residents’ privacy by limiting the number of external caregivers and promoting continuity with familiar healthcare providers. In case of urgent need, a home care agency is available, and we coordinate care and communication with health professionals.
